PE in C3 takes place on a Wednesday afternoon. Children should come wearing their kits. More information about kits can be found here: Uniform and Kits
Class 3 will soon be going swimming at Bramcote. Bramcote's guidance can be read here: Swimming Guidance
C3 have a spelling test every Thursday afternoon. We understand that some spellings can be tricky to learn so it is important to practice regularly and look out for the patterns that can help you! When children reach 150 correct spellings, they will receive an exciting treat! The Year 3/4 Statutory Spelling list can be accessed here: Spellings
Every June, Year 4 children will be sitting a new Times Tables test. We have daily practice in Class 3 but it is encouraged that children also practice at home. There are many fantastic websites and apps to use but we love using 'Hit the Button' in Class 3, which can be accessed here: Hit the Button

Reading Rocks
Reading is a regular and enjoyable part of our day in Class 3 and it is fantastic to see so many children reading at home too! There is an expectation in KS2 that children are reading at least three times per week, signed by an adult at home.
All children have a Reading Bookmark in the back of their homework diaries - for every read at home (signed by a grown-up), children will receive a star. When children have collected 15 and 30 stars, they will be rewarded!

Sports Week and Tennis Centre
C3 enjoyed a fun visit to the Tennis Centre this month. We took part in lots of activities and practised our tennis skills with some of the Rothsay Open coaches! Sports Week 2022 has also begun. We began with Sports in the Community and enjoyed Dance, Rugby, Karate and Gymnastics. We even had a go on a huge climbing wall on Friday for WOW Day! Can you spot yourself climbing? Click on the galleries below to have a look at all of our activities.
